I have chosen to do a horror trailer with the poster and the magazine cover. Therefore I will look at and analyse trailers, posters and film magazines to see the codes and conventions. This will help me to see what I should include in my products and it will give me ideas. Also, I will give out a questionnaire to my intended target audeince to confirm my ideas of the poster and the magazine and then see what is successful in trailers and what types of horror films they watch.
The definition of horror is: Horror fiction is a genre of fiction in any medium intended to scare, unsettle and horrify the audience. Historically, the cause of the "horror" experience has often been the intrusion of a disturbing supernaturel element into everyday human experience.
