The Migrain Model for my teaser trailer

This is the migrain model for my media product and what each letter means:

M: Medium. This is what the type of media the product is, for example magazines, films, newspaper, trailers. This is going to be a teaser trailer to advertise the film at the cinema.

I: Ideology. This is the values, beliefs and ideas that people have in society. My trailer will challenge these beliefs as murder is not usually one of them.

G: Genre. This is the type of film that it is for example horror, comedy, action and thriller. My trailer is going to be a horror film.

R: Representation. This is what is portrayed in media products. For example in films, the director represents the characters how they want the audience to see them. In my trailer, the killer is represented as a murderer.

A: Audience. This is the type of people who will be interested in the product for example the age group. The audience for my product will be late teens and onwards as this is the main age group that will watch horror films.

I: Institution. This is the company that produces and distributes films, for example Lions Gate, Columbia pictures and twisted pictures. I haven't decided which one I will use yet.

N: Narrative. This is the story line and the events that happen. My trailer will show the basic storyline, however it will not give too much information away.
