When filming my trailer I will need to take into account lighting that I will use. The first scenes of my trailer and some throughout will be filmed in a house. I will film this in the evening, therefore the artificial light will show the audience this.
The p.o.v shot from the killer stalking the two girls will be filmed in the evening as this is a convention of horror films. However I will have to see what time it starts getting dark so it will show up on the camera. Otherwise if I go too late, it will be too dark for the camera to see. The shots of the hand, the leg and the dead body will also be filmed when it is getting dark, so the audience can make out what they are.
The shot of the graveyard will also be filmed at night to create a spooky effect and to create suspense within the audience.
The shot near the end of the girl running towards the door in the house, I will flicker the lights to put the audience on edge as they do not know who the girl is running away from and it shows that the killer is going to turn the lights off.
