First draft of my poster

Here is the first draft of my poster. I have followed the main codes and conventions of film posters as these are successful with the audience. I have not taken the photo for it yet, however I will do it this week. I created the font for the title using Adobe Fireworks and I decided to have a black background around the picture as this colour is associated with horror films. I created the billing block in word, and then copied it into paint, so I could stretch it out so it looks real. I looked at other billing blocks on posters so that I could see what they included. All of them showed the distributors name, the actors/actresses names, the director, producer and who created the music. Therefore this is what I put in mine, however mine is shorter as there was not that many people involved with my film.
